Be Prepared
Preparation is everything. Does this sound familiar to you: All year round you have an idea what to buy your mum for Christmas and then, when December hits, it is like someone just deleted the gift hard drive in your brain. In this case, it helps to have a gift section in your notebook or even a list on your phone will do. Log your ideas. Log when people drop wishes in a conversation.
Stop Competing
Your present doesn’t need to be bigger, better or more expensive than everyone else’s. Try not to make a competition out of it and focus on what you think might be something the other person enjoys.
