Prints have the ability to elevate the atmosphere of a room immediately. We believe, that artwork adds a personal touch to your home. Therefore, we are introducing prints from The Poster Club, a Copenhagen-based online brand designs by upcoming and established artists.
For our A/W19 collection we chose three prints by two different artists in muted, neutral colour schemes. Our selection focusses on abstract and organic shapes working perfectly with modern Scandinavian interiors. The artwork comes on 265g high quality art paper and fits a standard 30 x 40cm frame. The prints come with a protective tube, which makes them safe to ship and store.
About the Artists
Both of the line designs “One Way” and “Kiss” are made by Anna Johansson. She is a Swedish artist, based in Stockholm. Besides her art prints, she is a creative director and shoe designer. She explains: “For me creating things should be an unforced and happy process. I believe in not following recipes or how to- ideas. I just do.”
The geometric shapes of “New Form 2” are designed by Riikka Kantinkoski, a Finnish blogger, stylist and interior designer. Besides her popular art prints, Riikka also designs her own range of jewellery and runs the blog Weekday Carnival. She says: “For me beautiful things don’t have to be polished and new, as I think perfection is imperfect. I get my inspiration mostly from nature. I love long walks, lazy mornings and smell of summer forest.”
