With Spring stepping back into our lives, we’re not only craving crisp, cold session ales in the sunshine but also a seasonal jewellery refresh. Just like with our wardrobes, we’re up for an accessory update. Whether it be a new ring to be added to the stash, a statement necklace, or new everyday hoops to add a detail to a relaxed look, we’re giving some pairing inspiration straight from one of our favourite Manchester places: Track Brewery.
The taproom sandwiched between Great Ancoats Street and Piccadilly Station is a special place for team NM. Whether it’s for an afterwork beer in their garden, a movie night, or a brewing tour around the big shiny barrels – we’ve had so many memorable moments here as a group of friends. One of them was when we found out that Monster Munch crisps also go by the name of ‘Northern Oysters’.
Just like with any place – it’s the people who make Track so brilliant and the team around Stefan and Amy are nothing but wonderful humans we love hanging out with. During our shoot we’ve got the chance to sample some brews and played with effortless jewellery combinations. This season we’re all about combining textures, shapes, and metals to refresh our look. As we ditch scarves, hats, and gloves there’s finally the opportunity to show off our jewellery again. Hands are coming out of hibernation. Necks and ears are becoming a visible canvas again.
Everything feels lighter which gives us more space to try out new things like mixing textures. Twisted chains combined with shiny fluid surfaces on earrings make a stand-out combination. Stone embossed rings add brightness and fun. We’re challenging to ourselves to explore new ways of wearing jewellery. Try a ring on a different finger! Maybe your thumb? Find a new ear stack combining a variety of small hoops. Or venture out in mixing gold and silver for an unexpected clash. The world is your Monster Munch.
