The start of the Summer marked 5 years since I left my career and decided to go into business with Nordic Muse full-time, and with a physical presence. From here, what started as a personal vision has blossomed into something very special. When I decided to pursue my dream, Nordic Muse was a one-woman band. I poured my heart and soul into every aspect of the business, from curating our product selection to engaging with our beloved customers, and all the hats you wear in between – meeting many of you as early as 2014 trading local Artisan markets. It was a beautiful and challenging journey, and I am forever thankful to all of you who joined us on that initial path.
But as they say, change is the only constant, and our business, like life, has evolved and grown. Today, I am proud to say that Nordic Muse is shaped by the collective talents and passion of Jasmin, Sarah, and Lottie too. We have transcended the limitations of being a one-person operation, and together, we have formed a bond that is unbreakable. Each of us brings diverse perspectives, experiences, and ideas to the table. Each team member contributes, and together, we are working collaboratively. It has been both humbling and inspiring to witness how our collaboration has elevated Nordic Muse to new heights in the last two years.
I firmly believe that the success of any business lies in its people, and I couldn’t be prouder of our small team. We share the same values that have been at the core of Nordic Muse from the very beginning: a deep appreciation for quality design, a commitment to craftsmanship, and a personal approach to shopping that makes each customer feel valued. In addition to providing our community with thoughtfully curated products, we have continued to share our story creatively and inject as much of our personalities into everything we do. It is essential to us that every interaction with Nordic Muse feels authentic and heartfelt, just like our relationships with each one of you. From sourcing and selections, to how we share the story of each product – each member of the team plays a role. There’s a little bit of all of us in what you see today, and we’re excited for what’s to come.
To all of you who have been part of this journey from the start and to those who have joined us along the way, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. Your support, feedback, and trust have helped us grow. As we step into the future, I am filled with excitement and optimism. With our incredible team of women, I know that Nordic Muse will continue to evolve, adapt, and spread its wings even further. We are committed to remaining true to our roots while embracing change and pushing creative boundaries.
