As a Paris virgin, I was very excited to explore traditional tourist spots in the French capital. I’m a sucker for a good view, old buildings, and cobbled streets – it’s no surprise I fell in love with the district of Montmartre. Perched on top of a hill Montmartre is famous for the Sacre Coeur Basilica from where you get the most stunning views over Paris.
Montmartre truly feels like a village within a city. Compared to its surrounding arrondissements it has quite a lot of greenery and feels almost a bit like you’re in the countryside. Thanks to its lesser trafficked roads Montmartre is perfect for strolling around and getting lost – one of my favourite ever things to do.
For this crisp afternoon spent walking around the cobbled streets of Paris, I chose a collection of striking yet wearable pieces of jewellery.
