We are excited to share our latest trip to Maison & Objet in Paris with you. Maison & Objet is a major French trade fair for interior design. Held in Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, it is among the three most important European events for interior design. We spent a long weekend in the French capital – a special journey for all of us.

What made this trip even more exciting was that for the first time since 2019, we were able to see products in person, meet our long-standing suppliers and discover new brands. To make the most of our visit, we left our apartment in Bastille before sunrise to get to the train station Gare du Nord. Fueled with Croissants and rewarded by the most delicious pink sky the day started promising. We then managed to squeeze onto a train towards the exhibition center despite the ongoing strikes which we count as another stroke of luck.

Our first stop: Hall 4, Stand G76 – Madam Stoltz. Madam Stoltz is an interior design and decoration firm from Bornholm, Denmark. Their stall was a true feast for the eyes, showing anything from patterned textiles to wicker furniture, ceramic lamps, and cosy cushions and rugs. Madam Stoltz has been a part of our interior range pretty much from the beginning and we really value their unique products and their sustainable approach to design.

Next up: Meeting the lovely team from House Doctor. Just like Madam Stoltz House Doctor has been a core pillar of our range from the early days of Nordic Muse. Helene gave us an in-depth understanding of new and best-selling products throughout their broad offer. We were intrigued by all the newness that their well-being range Meraki had to offer. We cannot wait to show you what we have ordered.

We found more exciting items and creative brand stories while exploring the rest of the show such as organic cotton accessories, beautifully printed books, and re-cycled totes and handbags. The offer was overwhelmingly big with so much to see and take in. It truly was such a valuable experience for all of us and we cannot wait to share gained knowledge and inspiration with you.
